How ARMY I am ?
Assalamualaikum wbt and hi yeorubun!
Yeorubun is everyone on Korean.
ARMY is a fan club name for BTS! Who doesnt know BTS? They are now go international and accepted worldwide!
Am I an Army since I got long list of BTS songs in my playlist?. Ok let’s check it out on how BTS affected my life and made me an Army. Wow zafirah wow this blogpost dont seem to be beneficial at all 😂
But, dear yeorubun. I am writing this because I want to read it later when I am older. I want to Keep this so I can flash back what is filling my life along this growing up process?. Can’t imagine how would my future “me” reading this years later.
Ok, HOW ARMY I AM?
1. I listen to BTS songs alot. Yes, ALOT!. I do even have my favourite and cannot do things without turning on the beat. For an example, while doing the house chores, I’ll make sure the BTS playlist turned on loud so I can be effectively productive. So, let me do the house chores by myself but, don’t part me away from BTS songs with maximum volume while doing them.
2. I watch their videos on youtube with or without subtitles. I watched BangtanTv, i watched their speeches when they receiving awards (even sometimes THERE IS NO ENGLISH SUBTITLES! crazy huh?), I watch their dance practices, I watched their birthday surprise videos, I watched RUN, I watched their MV repeatedly, I watched their interviews, concerts and any random videos. Yes, I watched them. I can laugh by myself while watching videos of BTS and I even cried sometimes. Bah! I questioning why I am like this? 🥺
3. I bought stuff that related to BTS. I bought socks, plush toy of BT21 (I bought Koya 🐨 representing Rap Monster). I bought hoodie with Jimin name behind, I bought phone case that is pink and Cooky the animated character of Jung Kook on it, I bought a hand bag with Shooky on it (Shooky representing Suga). I am collecting items that are relatable to BTS. Just you wait Jin, V and JHope, I’ll find you guys’ stuff to complete my collection of seven of you. Again, why I am like this?😴
4. I started to learn Korean. Unbelievable I am taking this seriously. I even bought an e-book about Learn Korean for Beginner. This one is an advantage for me since I really want to speak more languages than what I can now. So, I chose Korean because I really love watching Korean dramas and yes, I love BTS too. So, if I can speak korean and read Korean so I can just get what my Korean-crush(es) are saying in their videos or what they’re tweeted. Yes ladies and gentlemen, why I am like this? 🤪
5. I write about BTS in my blog. Yes, like what I’m doing right now. I really want to pour my mind out about how Army I am since I realised I love BTS’s songs and the members too!. Instead of how cute their appearances are, but trust me I love them even more than that. Their characters, how they treat and appreciate their Armys. They mention Army every single time when they received awards or even in random videos. They write songs about Armys as well. How to not fall in love with them dear yeorubun? 😇
Enough with 5 points to show how Army I am now. I know some may think Kpop is not suites someone like me hehehe I am a teacher dear yeorubun and I am teaching Pendidikan Islam. How can a teacher love Kpop, it’s not a good example to show off the students. I knew the fact and I am guilty about it too 🥺. Some of my students already knew I am a fan of BTS and that is actually made us became closer if you know what I mean?. I can get to attract their interest in their studies when they knew their teacher is a fan of the same group as theirs. Believe me, I can feel they really excited when I told them that I am a fan. Hehe.
Of course dear yeorubun, I will not stop telling my students even telling myself to never overdosing your interest in Kpop or any other entertainments that you ignore your priorities. Well, at the end the entertainments that we are enjoying right now will bring us to nowhere 🥺
Al Quran and our ibadah are all priorities we should put on top over all “lagha” things. The world is just like a playground, the world is temporary and so all the playgrounds that we are playing at today. Let’s we all together TRY to tone down our interest in lagha things for better us and to secure out position in getting Jannah.
We live to strive Jannah right?.
Entertainments are okay if we know how to manage. Just remember that “For all of these worldly life we are living, don’t forget that our ukhrowi account should be full-filled too”.
Marilah menjadi Army dan pencinta keseronokan dunia dengan berpada-pada. Dunia ni tidak ke mana pun kan?. Masuk syurga nanti, buatlah apa pun jenis keseronokan puas-puas. But before that, kena struggle masuk syurga dulu lah. Kutip amalan banyak-banyak di dunia. In shaa Allah, WE CAN DO THIS!
